What is Love?

The one place that I could trust to give me information on how to live has let me down. Turning to Disney has given countless of others false hope on how to find love. Lets use Aladdin for example. We all know the story. Two restless, young hearts searching for something to fill an empty feeling in their heart somehow bump into each other in a crowded street. One being a beautiful princess and the other being a worthless street rat. And before you know it Aladdin has Jasmine back at his place. They haven't even known each other for a day. And as we know how the story ends they end up getting married thanks to a flying carpet, monkey, and magic genie. First of all genies and flying carpets don't exist so they can't help you out. A monkey may be able to though.
In Beauty and the Beast, Belle's father gets lost in the middle of nowhere, and is taken captive by a Beast. Belle finds her father, takes his place as captive. They read a book, have a dance, dinner, and a snowball fight. They end up falling in love and living happily ever after. This can be seen in every Disney movie with a princess in it. When are they going to show the real side of love. A guy being turned down by a girl. And since when has everyone in the movie been incredibly good looking. It usually doesn't work that way. Unfortunately, most of us have had to learn the hard way. But if we wish upon a star maybe that dream can finaly come true.
So what is love? Is it just a four letter word? A second hand emotion?
